  • Build meaningful relationships with donors, understanding their giving goals, and aligning them with HRF’s mission and priorities.
  • Research, build and cultivate current and potential donors to assess affinity for HRF’s work and potential giving level.
  • Play a key role in donor engagement events.
  • Develop personalized engagement plans and tailor solicitation strategies for each donor.
  • Communicate with your portfolio via phone calls, written correspondence and in-person visits to build relationships and keep them updated on HRF’s activities.
  • Mine evolving lists of prospects to secure meetings and make appropriate requests for support.
  • Conduct outreach to potential donors at conferences and events.
  • Secure meetings with current and potential donors.
  • Track engagements with donors and prospects in Salesforce.

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-motivated and results driven.
  • Collaboration with teammates to achieve mutual success and hit organizational goals.
  • Experience managing donor databases with a strong preference for Salesforce experience.
  • Strong commitment to HRF’s mission to promote and protect human rights around the world, with a focus on closed societies.
  • Substantial travel will be required to perform these duties.
