Design, Monitoring and Evaluation (DME)
International Center for Transitional Justice
ICTJ's design, monitoring, and evaluation intern will contribute to our mission of fighting impunity, affirming victims’ dignity, and promoting responsive institutions. This internship offers a unique opportunity to gain first-hand experience in the field of human rights and monitoring and evaluation for transitional justice, gender, peacebuilding or related work.
Under supervision by an assigned advisor, interns will:
- Assist in the design and development of data collection tools to assess the results and learnings of ICTJ programs.
- Analyze data collected through program evaluations, surveys, and other instruments.
- Contribute to the writing of evaluation reports and summaries for various stakeholders.
- Assist with daily design, monitoring, and evaluation tasks.
- Participate in meetings and discussions related to ICTJ's activities.
- Interns are encouraged to attend ICTJ events, open meetings, and other local human rights-related events to foster their understanding of current trends in transitional justice.
