Why work for CARE International UK?

Lead the development of high-value, multi-year corporate partnerships that drive sustainable growth and real impact. You’ll shape and deliver our new corporate partnerships strategy, creating purposeful, win‑win collaborations across ESG, brand, commercial and philanthropic opportunities.

Working closely with the Head of Partnerships & Philanthropy and teams across CARE, you’ll identify innovative opportunities – from responsible supply chains to microfinance and humanitarian programmes – while managing and developing a high-performing team. With strong leadership support and the autonomy to act, you’ll play a key role in growing income, strengthening partnerships, and advancing CARE UK’s mission.

About you

You’re an experienced corporate partnerships professional with a strong track record of securing significant income (£1m+) and building high-value relationships. You bring excellent commercial awareness, strategic thinking and the ability to lead compelling partnership proposals. You have a solid understanding of corporate priorities across employee engagement, brand, ESG and commercial drivers.

You’re confident influencing and negotiating with senior stakeholders, and skilled at working across different cultures in complex, global organisations. A collaborative leader, you are motivated by delivering impact with corporate partners in line with CARE’s values.

About the role

You’ll lead the development and delivery of CARE International UK’s new corporate partnerships strategy, securing high-value, multi-year partnerships and building a strong pipeline of opportunities. You’ll drive business development, from prospecting and relationship-building through to proposal development and closing deals.

Leading a small new corporate partnerships team, you’ll oversee income growth, manage key processes and ensure partnerships are impactful, sustainable and aligned with CARE’s priorities. You’ll work closely with internal and global colleagues, represent CARE externally, and influence corporate audiences to position CARE as a partner of choice.
